So, I drove to Ohio this weekend. Spent some time visiting with the parents and enjoying the fall color. The very wet fall color. This one was snapped while sitting in the car, hoping the rain would stop. The first day at Vermilion River Reservation (Mill Hollow), we had some dry weather, not much but a bit. We went back the next morning and the rain started just as we neared the park. Of course, the sun was out and the weather beautiful today. Today. The day we had to come home. We did spend a few minutes at the park but I didn't take many digital photos as I was in charge of The Wonderdog, who was in overdrive with all the new smells.
The ribs are much better. I still have some discomfort, especially at night, but I do believe I'm over the worst part. Hope y'all had a fabulous weekend.

Sorry the weather didn't cooperate with you! You could have sent it down here to us. Glad to hear the ribs are mending. And glad you had a safe trip.

but o wow do i love this pix. proof positive that you can make lemons out of lemonade. :) we could actually USE some rain in our part of the country; i hear it may be coming later this week.
