A Kettle Marsh

Kettle 

Our guide telling us about the huge chunk of ice that would have had to break off the Wisconsin Glacier to form this Kettle. A Kettle is formed when ice breaks away from a retreating glacier. What that kettle becomes depends upon the ecology of the landscape. This one is a marsh.
