See, over there, on the other side of that huge branch, that leaf covered bank? See, how huge it is?! That's the leaf covered and extremely slippery, bank that I went slip, sliding away until my butt stopped the fall. It was a beautiful spot and the fall was worth it for the image. And I'm not too proud to tell the world of my clumsiness. After all, I wasn't physically hurt, just wounded my pride a bit.
I wish I was better with math of the algebra/calculus type. Every time I try to figure out the focusing distance of my close-up filters, I am presented with a formula that makes no sense to my pea brain. I want to attach one to my Land Camera to shorten the focusing distance only thing, I don't have the close-up kit that was made by Polaroid. It included an attachment that went over the focusing window. Later, I will play with them and see what I come up with. Don't expect miracles, though. I'm sure what I take will be unfocused and never see the light of day. I think I have about 4 images left on my last pack of film. I've got more ordered but so far, no confirmation of shipment. Come on B&H!!

Well, it's a lovely spot! Don was chasing the fog this morning. No word whether he succeeded.
but where's the picture of you falling on your butt?!!! ;)
The photo is AWESOME...and boy do I know about falling on my bum to get a shot! Hope you're much better now...
you think YOU have a pea brain?? i don't have a clue what you're talking about w/lenses and figuring distance and calculus. lordie.
and watch it out there on the slippery slopes, girl! you're still mending from the last fall!!
Thanks all!!
That photo lives in the memory of my daughter, who was too busy laughing (once making sure I wasn't hurt!).
