Harry Potter Room

  Harry Potter Room

I am hoping that I've managed to insert an image even if it is from my flickr account instead of a direct upload to Blogger. I can't believe that Mac doesn't have an application that compares favorable to Live Writer. I've become spoiled by that little program.

The above picture is part of the University of Oklahoma's library. It's an older section that has glass floors and half floors. The older generation calls it the Being John Malcovich Room and the younger generation, The Harry Potter Room. It's kind of a spooky spot, looking through the floor but so worth it. It contains lots of goodies, including some original publications. I'll have more to share once I edit/develop them.

The stacks...memories of both my Dad's time at OU and mine. (Kids' books were in the stacks and dad would send me there while he did research elsewhere in the library.)

I love that room even on an eerie, intersession, afternoon. I can't believe kids books were there. I do love looking at all the thesis papers dating back to the beginning of OU!!

Sorry I haven't been around to your blog more often... I'll try to do better.
