Spicy Americano coffee made by me with a new cookbook to peruse, life is good. Or at least it should be but as in most snippets, there is more happening behind the scenes. I am worried about SallyCat's bladder infection (if that's what it is). I am worried about next week's weather predictions as my daughter begins to make the long drive home, not to mention the possibility of an ice storm during exam week again. I am a natural, born worrier.
Time to fill the day with noise and confusion. I must brave the crowds for a few things.

It is always amazing to me how you can turn a cup of coffee into a work of art. Such a nice shot, you capture the quiet moment and the peaceful feelings that go along with it.
I hope that your adventure into the outside world is not too crazy! Keeping that peaceful feeling going is a must!
