Sheboygan Falls

Sheboygan Falls

What do you know? There is a little waterfall in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. Did a little exploring in Wisconsin this weekend partly to grab a yummy apple pie (and to remind M if she'd gone to a local university she would have been able to enjoy it) and just get out of the house.

The pie from Elegant Farmer is to die for. The crust is made the old fashioned way, with lard and not something to indulge in too often.

Speaking of M, she is doing well away at school. Working hard but enjoying the experience. It helps me to know that she's doing so well or at least appears to be doing so. There is a reason so many of those songs about growing up are so popular. Each one has a ring of truth.

*Now playing: You're Gonna Miss This by Trace Adkins - American Man - Greatest Hits, Vol. II

Love the bridge. LOVE that apple pie! We bought cheesecake today at a Mennonite bakery.
