New Toys

Onion

I have that shiny, new camera and I'm bored with everything in my world. Finding interesting subject matter is getting more and more difficult. Even our country rides are becoming less country and more strip shopping centers. We did see this unusual house a few weeks ago. Went back with camera in hand.

When first we saw it, it looked so out of place in this small, residential neighborhood. But as the landscaping takes shape, it's not looking quite as ridiculous. M wondered if perhaps the future owners have a strong love of Wisconsin Dells and water parks in general. ;)

I know that feeling of being bored with your environment. Even living next to a national park I got that feeling after being there for a long time. With fuel costs it makes it more difficult to explore places further away also. Maybe we'll switch to still life on our dining tables before it's all over with. Personally I enjoy your pics of the pupster very much, and you don't have to go far for those.

Thanks Fletch. I've already started taking too many photos of still life on my table. I'll see what I can do with Cassie. She is goofy.

And gas prices.... ouch.

Neat house! We love log houses. We haven't explored around here much, but photo ops seem more limited. We haven't had much opportunity to scout and, as you say, gas prices....yikes!
