Memories

IMG_2803-copy-3

This past week, I've found myself walking down memory lane. I have always been a prolific picture taker. When a death happens that seems so senseless and tragic, I often find myself spending time with my photos. Grateful that those memories have been captured on film. Wishing that I had taken the time to write more. Always aware that life is precious. Finding myself wishing that I knew how to comfort a friend who has lost so much.  A friend, even in the midst of her own grief, is finding inspiration, doing the best she can walking a path none of us ever wants. If I can offer one thing, it's that although her path and mine are different, that I can share part of her path and her pain where we intersect.

We are still awaiting word on the results of the heart CT Scan my mother took last week. Let us hope that he doesn't wait a month to raise any alarm as he did with her stress test.

Thank you, Bonnie! I love you, girl! Never think that anything we do as a loving gesture to help another is done in vain. It never returns void.

I hope you get the results of the heart CT scan back quickly and it is good news. Waiting for medical tests to come back is painful.

We have to hold tight to all our memories, good and bad. It is sometimes all we have to help us move forward in this world.

My prayers are with your friend.
