Hi Y'All

*Now Playing: Should've Been a Cowboy by Toby Keith - Toby Keith: Greatest Hits, Vol.1

Just back from a trip to Norman/Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for another look at the University of Oklahoma. While there, did some driving around and navigating with the GPS. This horse was found along side a road that the GPS directed us for Arcadia. It kind of spooked M when he started over to the window.

This round barn, found on Historic Rt. 66, is the pride of Arcadia.

The snippet of road you see in the photo is Rt. 66. Some day, even though the route has been decommissioned and can be hard to follow, I want to travel the entire Rt. 66.

I am spitting mad at myself. I only brought my Panasonic FZ20 with me and at some point, I bumped it to manual focus. While looking through the viewfinder, I figured it was my diopter adjustment as I had never bumped the manual focus switch before but the diopter, all the time. Many of my favorite images are a blur, literally and figuratively.

Home now and just finished shoveling snow. I think I'll warm up with my morning cuppa. Have a great week.

I hate it when that happens! I don't know how many times I've been shooting on manual and messed a shot up because I forgot :( Interesting catch on the horse!

Thanks Beth and Shirley.

The horse actually started in front of the car before deciding he needed to relieve himself.... ewww. He seemed friendly enough and was later joined by another.

Glad you are back safely from your trip. Missed your posts. Your horse picture is wonderful, it reminds me of when we were at Yellowstone and a Bisson, came strolling alone next to our car. I'll have to find that picture and post it. I loved the round red bard. That is not something you see very often, umm, like never. Very cool.
I hope you get to make that drive on Rt. 66 some day. We hit parts of it on our trip across America, and I loved it. I would have liked to have done more, seen more, but it was not on the agenda. We were on a strict schedule, hotel reservations to keep, friends houses to get to. That part stunk.
Sorry you had to shovel snow when you got home. I hope you enjoyed something REALLY nice and warm to drink when you were done.

I left you an award at my blog. You'll find it under the picture of I Love Lucy.

Have a great night.

XOXOXO
