Sometime, all we can do is smile. More rain is predicted for today and with that rain, the potential for more storms. I'm not sure what our total rainfall has been this month but it is well over a foot. Yesterday's weather that pounded Chicago and suburbs passed just to the south of us but we still had the rain and lots of vivid lightning.Seems the stormy weather fits the mood of the day around here. I think I'll take the advice of Joey and Smile. The image is from Castle Rock, Wisconsin. A huge formation found along I-94.

I tried to leave a comment earlier, but Google got really confused about who I am :) Anyway, I wanted to tell you that we watched spectacular footage of the storm front moving across the city. The footage was from a distance and pretty much above it. It was like a slow-moving wall! Incredible to watch, but I'm sure it wasn't fun to experience!
It was quite the wall cloud and came up fast. I'd just taken my car through the car wash and on the trip home, the sky went from clear to dark and stormy. We got off easy but the Fox River is at flood levels.
