Published

It was November of 2005, I believe, when I was approached about using one of my photos in a book on the Chicago River. Now, it's published. Just a small image showing the water as it enters the locks but published nonetheless. It's actually the second time I've been published but the first time in a book. It's not often I write about such events, keeping them more to myself and this may not stay in place long.

For more info on the book visit: Chicago River, A History in Photographs by Jonathan Genzen.

My opinion is that we should celebrate our successes. :-)

-- Vicki in Michigan, who just blogged my ATC in a book this week. Like you, it's the second time I've been published, and the first in a book (the other time was a magazine). :-)

Thanks Shirley and Vicki (I need orange). I guess I'm just uncomfortable with self promotion, even putting the jpg vote feels awkward for me.

I don't see it as self-promotion. I was happy to know about it.
