Marquette

A fish smokehouse and ropes found in downtown Marquette, Michigan (UP). There is just something a little bit special about towns located along the water and those with a hearty fishing industry. Also, located in Marquette, Northern Michigan University. Marquette is the largest city in the U.P. with somewhere around 20,000 residents.

I took a few Polaroid photos on my trip but not many. The weather was cold and rainy making me reluctant.

I don't know that I've spent much time around a town centered around the fish industry, but it looks intriguing.

Fishing towns have their own special charm, and you captured that in those shots. Too bad the weather wasn't better, but I love what you got.
