I watched Idol in its entirety and was I ever glad I did. Adam’s performance sent chills. He sang Mad World (Tears for Fears) as the show ended in overtime. It was haunting, that’s all I can say. I should add that the version he sang was Gary Jules. Adam’s version still blew me away. If it were available for download, it would be playing right now. I wish that iTunes/American Idol would make the songs available today instead of Thursday. The only other performance that stands out for me was Allison’s version of I Can’t Make You Love Me (Bonnie Raitt). The rest, while some were good, forgettable.
It’s a beautiful day across Chicagoland. I must find something to do outdoors today. Whatever you do, make it a good day.
