It's That Time of Year

IMG_3345copy

Homemade pumpkin pie and French press coffee. Yum!! Isn't that the cutest little French press? As I broke my original press last winter (before Christmas) and have yet to receive one, I bought the little 3-cup press. In other words, coffee for me, moi and myself. In the background, the cutest little Poinsettias.

I'm off to enjoy my coffee and do some reading. Have a great weekend.

It's a method of brewing coffee that creates an intense cup. It's that thing behind the cup. After 4 minutes of steeping the coffee with very hot water, you slowly press the grinds down leaving the coffee.

This looks so yummy! I went to Sam's earlier this afternoon, and it was a zoo! Sample areas everywhere... including pumpkin pie.

Rather than making a big pumpkin pie this year, I made individual mini pies with pumpkin and pecans! YUM
