Inside and out. That ice has formed on my fireplace opening. -12 on my front porch this morning with dangerous wind chills but the high school is open. Heaven forbid they put the safety of the kids first instead of their end of year schedule. Enough said.

i'm so sorry we sent the deep freeze your way! :( stay warm. i couldn't agree more about the schools staying open. i worked in public schools for years and was SO angry at times when they didn't close. (and it wasn't just because i didn't want to go to work!) stay safe.
I suppose when the temps rebound to about 20° in a few days, it'll feel like a heatwave. I know, it's not the coldest I've ever felt but it's still cold.
Oh, and the lower grade levels were canceled because of a bus problem. The high schools use the same buses but fewer of them meaning more walkers. I'm just glad that I could drive Megan today and anybody else who needs a ride home will get one.
