Things I Know

Things I know for sure. What I believe today, I most likely won't believe tomorrow. Think about it? When we're children, we believe that we'll live forever. Our parents will never age and we'll always be right. Our views as young adults often change and evolve as we mature and have our own children and careers. New information causes one's outlook to change. It could be said that all of life is about change. Hey, isn't that a country song? "Life's about change and nothin' ever stays the same."

I always tell myself that I won't like the health club, but it turns out that perhaps it's not so bad after all. I did get a new pair of shoes and an iShuffle out of the deal and exercise. Being competitive, it sometimes helps keep me going to have somebody next to me, on the machine longer and walking/running faster. Perhaps my temporary membership will become a full-time membership at the end of the month. I've still not gone with the husband and that's probably a good thing. Now, how to tell him he might have been right? Maybe I'll just wait until the end of the month and see if my feelings have changed. ;) Besides that, The Wonderdog is not happy with fewer walks.
