Cold

The last day of January is upon us and with a cold vengeance. The car thermometer read 0°F this morning with a nasty wind chill. The snow has a Styrofoam crunch when walking. The sunrise was beautiful with streaking pinks but I chose to not linger with a camera but to scurry straight from the car to my coffeecup.

During these winter months, I often experiment and this time around it's with Polaroid transfers and emulsion lifts. The above was done a couple of years ago and just scanned. I've a couple that are drying and I will scan them later today or tomorrow. The ultimate destination for a transfer, a note card.

Stay warm and have a wonderful day.
