St. James of the Sag. This church was built on a Native American burial ground but the souls that wander it's cemetery and grounds are those of a group of Monks. Ghostly sightings have been reported since 1847 with the most recent in the 1970's.
The quote, one that will give me thought today. Have a beautiful Monday, sweet friends and visitors.

Great spooky tale for halloween, with the perfect image to accompany it. As for the quote...sublime...
I for one...feel comfortable tonight, but it may or may not last...like all things...
It's a beautiful church (from the outside as I did not go in) and still an active parish. In fact, we left and came back as when we arrived a mass was just letting out. For me, it was unusual to see the cemetery surrounding the church. The property sits upon some bluffs and that's where the legend lies with vanishing monks. It was a popular destination with other ghost hunters. Me, I enjoy an old cemetery and church, haunted or not. Our main destination was not this but rather a place to take a walk in the woods.
Blue, today I could be better.... but like you said, that won't last either. Thanks!
my pleasure Bonnie...nothing lasts for ever, not the good, not the bad...and we can't even always spot which is which until much later...
So true, blue... there you go teaching me with your wise words yet again.
