One from my archive file. It makes me feel a bit of a voyeur, spying on those ducks through the reeds around the lake. But it was just an exercise in Depth of Field. Image hosted by Flickr.
Have you ever lost your ATM/Debit/Visa Check card?
Have you ever thought it just had to be in your wallet and gone through every nook and cranny numerous times? Have you emptied your wallet again and again expecting that this time it'll be there? Not there, it must be in the purse, right? Empty the purse in disbelief. Not there. Not in your pocket. Check the wallet again, nope still not there. Check the pile of ATM receipts, nope not mixed in there. Call the last store you used it. Nope not there. Check the car. Nope, not there. What next? Pull of all the cushions from the couch and love seat. The last cushion and there it is, slid down between the cushions. I have no earthly idea of why it would have slid there but there it is!! Best thing, I didn't have to tell the husband. ;) Several hours later, the breathing returned to normal and I relaxed to Gilmore Girls on TV.
Speaking of Gilmore Girls, something doesn't feel the same with the writing. It's lacking and Luke just seem weirdly different. A change in the writing staff when the old couldn't come to terms with the new network. This is supposed to be the last season (unless the cast will sign on for another). I'll still enjoy the show. It's been a coming of age program I've enjoyed with Megan since the beginning. Just hope that the writing can come back around again.
It's a dark stormy morning but the unusual heat of October has broken. If I hadn't looked at

The writing issue seems to be a common problem this season. Two-and-a-Half Men so far has not been as good. I was disappointed somewhat with LOST last night. Nothing new I seem to be wanting to watch this season.
I don't know about two and half men, never did watch it, but I thought LOST intriguing. The opening grabbed my attention pretty quickly.
