The Wonderdog enjoying yesterday's beautiful fall sunshine. The day, picture perfect.... only I spent it getting a
haircut. I have a deep dislike of getting my haircut. As far as haircuts go, this one is good. In the past, I would come straight home and look for the biggest brown paper bag to put over my head. If that didn't work, always a baseball cap around. The most enjoyable part of this haircut, the talk about TV. Yes, folks, I am a Grey's Anatomy
fan. We discovered that we enjoy many of the same shows, including 7th Heaven (it's back!!), Gilmore Girls, Grey's Anatomy and a lack of fondness for reality TV.
After I came home I wondered when did my life begin to revolve around the new fall line-up. In years past, I only awaited the return of ER. Now, I can hardly keep my pants on waiting for the return of
LOST, my absolute
MUST SEE TV. When
LOST is on, all must remain perfectly quiet. There will be no unloading of the dishwasher, no clicking on a PDA, no pouring of M&M's or popping of popcorn, no crunching of chips nor turning pages in a book (breathing is permitted so long as it's not too loud) while the show is on. The phone had best not ring during the show as I will not answer it and you had better not be "Mary" from Satellite TV leaving the umpteenth message trying to get me to install a dish. Mary, I will not now, nor in the foreseeable future, ever install a dish system and most definitely not one from your company. You are very annoying.
I believe, as my hair stylist went so far as to change her schedule to attempt to be home on Thursdays, and has similar rules for Grey's Anatomy, that we kept the shop mildly entertained with our obsession over TV. This entry just might give an insight into my mental state causing you to question the sanity of the writer of this blog. Don't say you were never warned.
