I make no excuse, I'm an instant gratification junky. I love digital but before that, I loved Polaroid. Even though Polaroid photos are often less than perfect, I love the instant look at life around me.
The shadows on the snow fascinate me. A life all their own as they shimmer and change with the slightest breeze. Like life, a shift in the wind can bring about great change. I did mention that I like winter, mostly. I enjoy the light and the snow (not the icy sidewalks) . The snow can be a blanket, covering up the scars of a landscape. A beautiful, freshness found in all that winter white.
Have a beautiful, winter white day.

I love this, Bonnie!
I love the mood and the simple beauty. It reminds me of Girl with a Pearl Earring about how Vermeer says that shadows are blue, not grey.
Such a lovely photo!
hugs!
Thanks wynne. I've not read that book yet, but it is on my list. I was thinking the same thing about shadows especially on snow.
being new to polaroid, i'm learning to love things not being so "perfect."
i love this image. and, yes, there is something about snow that is so... clean. it gives us a new canvas.
