The Day After

Slowly going through my fireworks images looking for something different. Last night, at some point, my battery died and I didn't notice it for quite some time. This might have been me, pulling my hair in all different directions. I know I triggered the shutter in time for the heart, but that was one in the "dead" zone.

Woodstock fireworks are unique experience for us, sitting on a hill with the rockets bursting over our head and raining down all around. By far, my favorite display of the year. I don't really plan any photos, just set up the tripod and cable release, trigger the shutter every now and then but mostly, I just watch the show.

WOW!!!
great fireworks photos, Bonnie!
sounds like you had a grand time - a true Fourth celebration.
we didn't do anything - too much cleaning and cooking to do before a concert.
have a loverly day, Sweet Friend!

The trip to Ohio came about kind of quickly. I don't normally plan on being away from home during this time. We missed the Crystal Lake fireworks this year. Good to see all the family again.

Thanks sweetie,
